Week End Meeting Analysis:

City Of Choice well positioned

The gelding of the Patrick Merven stable showed significant progress during training. City Of Choice will be well positioned throughout the race and will finish strongly in the end. Addition should be seriously considered if he takes the lead. Ansel and Hopes And Desires should not be completed ignored.

How Many To Won the best in the field

How Many To Won has scored a victory this season. The horse has showed good progress at training and will be lined up with excellent winning chances. Traianius had a difficult race last time out.  He will be more comfortable over this distance. He stands a chance. Palm Of Peace seems at his best and Royal Ransom should be considered.

Good Grief will be at the finish

Very regular and consistent in his performances, Good grief will be a hard nut to crack in this field. Over a favourable distance, he can score his third win on our turf. Happy Al excels when running in front. With his good draw, he will be difficult to overcome in the final straight if he is able to lead comfortably. Darcy’s Arcy and Desolation Row will end up strongly in the final strides.

Southern Heights back on the winning trend

Southern Heights is one of the revelations of the 2011 season. He won five consecutive races. Excellent front runner, he has withdrawn a good line. Resistant to the end, he is the main contender for victory. Ipse Dixit remains a very good horse on this class. Winner last time out, he will again fight for victory in this race. Make My Grey has progressed and should not be underestimated.

Cult Status may end the season beautifully

Cult Status managed a very good 2011 season with two wins. On his current form, he will be difficult to beat in this field. Alvaro has shown encouraging progress at training lately. He will be well positioned throughout the race with his good draw. He will finish strongly in the end as usual. Summer Exposure should not be ignored along with Princely Reason.

Galant Gagnant, a winning choice

Checked in the final stages last time out, Galant Gagnant may end the season on a winning note. He has withdrawn a good line and will follow close to the lead before ending strongly in the final straight. Dealer’s Choice won narrowly last time out. He has maintained his good condition and another good run is expected from him. Flaminglight and Paraguayito must be followed.

Liam or Volacious?

This race seems to be dominated by Liam and Volacious. Liam is a better horse than Volacious but the question mark is that it will only be his second participation on our turf. The horse of the Paul Foo Kune stable has made significant progress during the past weeks and he can score his first win over here. Volacious will finish strongly as usual.  The chances of Pole Of Cold should not be ignored.

Tizaloochee against Betrayed

Tizaloochee won his first race on our turf last time out from start to finish. In great shape, he seems to have progressed further. If he leads easily, he will be difficult to beat. Betrayed has been stunning at training with very good recorded time factors. He has unfortunately withdrawn a bad eighth line. He will have to follow at the back and finish strongly in the uphill. Wave Dancer, winner last time out, should be followed. Le Mistral should also be considered.
